Darcy has spent her career building businesses in financial services/capital markets. First at Merrill Lynch, where, over 32 years, she and her partners built the largest Merrill wealth management practice in the KC region. She was a founding member of the Private Banking and Investment division and was named a Barron’s magazine Top 100 wealth advisors in the U.S. January 2016, she lasted two weeks in retirement and to help boost the economy of the Kansas City region, built a venture capital firm, KCRise. Now on its third Fund, KCRise has raised $80 million to date and invested in 44 high-growth technology companies, with one of the best track records in the country of returning capital to investors through exits.
